A Little Nonsense Now and Then: Fall Open Hours

After the opening on August 15, the farmhouse opened its doors on four Saturday afternoons this fall, from 1 to 3 pm, for visitors to see A Little Nonsense Now and Then: Assorted Works by Anne Trinner Gabriel (1923–1993).

A largely self-taught artist, Anne Gabriel worked across many mediums, including an extensive collection of tole painting with gold leaf, stenciling on furniture, paintings on glass, a watercolor and needlework. The Woodchuck Hill Farmhouse (circa 1790) is filled with artifacts showing her eye for decoration and craft.
